European courts

The firm employs its expertise before the courts of the European Union; it is able to assist its clients in proceedings for failure to fulfil an obligation against the State and complaints to the European Commission, or questions referred for a preliminary ruling.

With its extensive expertise in international law and European Union law, the firm fully masters the linking of proceedings under domestic law (Court of cassation and Conseil d’Etat) with appeals under European law (CJEU or ECTHR).

Cases which can be brought before a European court are analysed and defended from this point of view from the appeal stage, whether the appeal is filed before the Conseil d’Etat or the Court of cassation.

It also frequently appears before the European Court of Human Rights to defend fundamental rights.
